Stantons Farm is based in Black Notley, a small civil parish in the heart of the Essex countryside, approximately 1.5 miles south of Braintree. The farm can trace its origins back to the 12th century and is originally thought to have comprised of 250 acres and farmed both livestock and arable throughout its history.
Whilst a number of the original farmstead buildings remain on the site, the estate was split up in the 1960s and some of the agricultural buildings and a large proportion of the land are now under different possession.
